Perhaps my life was a mystery but one thing I know for certain:
As of yet, no one has tired of the Mousetrap behind the curtain.
Sweet Miss Jane was strong as Hercule who was an annoying feller.
Even though I disappeared, I’m still the world’s all time best seller.
Who Am I?
(After exhausting your sleuth skills, feel free to peruse Scotland Yard’s case file for the answer and explanation to this Mysterious Writer Riddle.)

I was clueless about this one. Guess I need to read more mysteries.
She’s an old-timer. But you’ve probably seen her work on BBC too.
It has to be The Dame… Dame Agatha Christie. Did any other author use the name “Hercule” for a major character?
Only Walt Disney, but Greek gods don’t count anyway. So glad you figured it out. Christie is one of my all time favorites. And Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot are classics. I wish I could write characters like that.
She is one of my faves. I was glad to see I knew this one!
Miss Agatha had an interesting life, too. Have you read of her “disappearance”? Very intriguing.
There’s a movie about Christie’s disappearance. It stars Vanessa Redgrave and Dustin Hoffman. I saw it years ago. Very mysterious. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078736/
oooh! I haven’t seen that one. I saw a biography channel special on her. (I think that was the channel.)
I’ll look it up. Her work rocked…and still does.
I knew immediately. I think I’ve read everyone of her books. Loved them all.
Her books are classic. I grew up on Agatha Christie. Love her.
What fun! I thought you were asking the ID of the train, silly me!:) But of course the Orient Express means Dear Agatha can’t be far behind! Thanks for the invite to your blog–looking forward to visiting again!
Thanks for stopping by, Erika.
